What is YEP-Online?
YEP-Online is a free online community for Rotary Exchange Students. YEP stands for (Rotary) Youth Exchange Program.

Who can use YEP-Online?
The site is meant for Rotary Exchange Students. If you are an exchange student traveling with another program this site will not be very usefull for you. I may make a site simular to this one in the future. YEP-Online is build around the Rotary principle of districts and clubs. The districts and clubs are used to find other exchangestudents with simular experiences as yourself and therefore it would not be possible for other exchange students to use the site... sorry.

What is possible with YEP-Online
As YEP-Online is meant as a community, communication is the main thing here. You will be able to use the forum for discussions about how it is to be an exchange student, give advise and have a laugh.
You can send messages to other exchange students on the site and keep in contact.
You can make a blog and tell everybody about your experiences as an exchange student. Make a gallery to show everyone what you are doing.
More features are planned in the future and development on the site will be a continued process.

Why should I register with YEP-Online?
There are one main reason to use YEP-Online is: Contact with other exchange students. If you are still an outbounder you will be able to get loads of help from other exchange students that have lots of great advise for you.
If you are inbound YEP-Online will be a great place for you to plan things with your fellow exchange student. Also let them know how you are doing and show them pictures of your latest travels.
Finally rebounders: Get in contact with those people you haven't seen in years. Use the locator to find people who went to your district back then. Are you just comming home keep the contact with all those friends you made during your amazing year away from home.

Is there anything I can contribute with?
YES! There are plenty of ways you can help the site grow and get better. First of all you can invite fellow Rotary Exchange Sudents to the site. The more we are the better as this will make it more interesting and diverse to surf these pages. If you have a homepage of some sort a link to this site would be much appreciated. A link will not only generate traffic to this site from yours but will also help google, yahoo, live and other search engines rank this site higher. This will let people find the site when they search for Rotary Exchange Student or simular keywords.
