Terms for using YEP Online
These are the terms for use of YEP Online. YEP Online holds the right to ban a user from the site and delete all content that the user
may have submitted at any time. You must agree to the terms in order to register as a user at YEP Online.
1. Who are permitted to use the site.
The following are allowed to use YEP Online. If you are not included in the following list YEP Online is not for you. All who are not
included in the list below will be removed from the site and not allowed to use the site in the future. YEP Online holds the right to
ban you if you do not meet the requirements listed below.
1.1 Outbounders: Rotary Exchange Students who have not yet been on their exchange. In order to qualify as an outbounder you most have
a sponsor club (i.e. a club that is handling your exchange in your native country). If you do not have a sponsor club registration to
the site will not be possible.
1.2 Inbounders: Rotary Exchange Students that are on their exchange. These will have both a sponsor club in their native country and a
host club in the country they are visiting.
1.3 Rebounders: Rotary Exchange Students who have returned from their exchange. These will have a sponsor club in their native country
and a host club in the country they have been visiting.
2. Use of YEP Online
In the following is listed what is not allowed on the site. Any deviation from these rules will result in the deletion of the user's
account and all content submitted.
2.1 Foul language. Do not use swear words in the blog, forum or other places where content can be written or heard.
2.2 Pornography. Do not in any way submit pictures (moving or still) that are in any way pornographic.
2.3 Submission of pictures (moving or still) depicting illegal activities. These activities may include but are not restricted to:
use, sale or possession of drugs, violating personal rights, driving underaged (or while on exchange) or stealing.
2.4 Harrasing other users of YEP Online. It is not allowed to continually harras a user of the site. It is allowed to discuss matters
in conversations but do not continually harras other users of the site.
2.5 Submitting content not legally owned by the user. Do not submit pictures or other content that other legal instances.
2.6 Intellectual property rights of others. No materials of any kind submitted through your account or otherwise posted, transmitted,
or shared by you on or through YEP Online will violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark,
privacy, publicity or other personal or proprietary rights.
2.7 Advertising. YEP Online is available for your personal, non-commercial use only.
3. Responsibility
3.1 If you see any behaviour that may be in violation with the terms it is your responsibilty to report this damaging behaviour. YEP
Online will then determine wether a user will be banned from the site or get a warning.
4. Personal information
4.1 YEP Online may not in any way distribute information the users of YEP Online may submit. Pictures, blogs and other content
submitted bu users of the site may not be distributed to a third party with out the accept of creator.
5. Submissions
5.1 You acknowledge and agree that any questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, feedback or other information about YEP Online, provided
by you to YEP Online are non-confidential and shall become the sole property of YEP Online. YEP Online shall own exclusive rights,
including all intellectual property rights, and shall be entitled to the unrestricted use and dissemination of these Submissions for
any purpose, commercial or otherwise, without acknowledgment or compensation to you.
6. Other
6.1 These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and YEP Online regarding the use of the site, superseding any prior
agreements between you and YEP Online relating to your use of the site. The failure of YEP Online to exercise or enforce any right or
provision of these Terms of Use shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision in that or any other instance. If any
provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect. If any provision
of these Terms of Use shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable
from these Terms of Use and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
